Small (but big for me) NSV
So I have been on Keto since last July (2020) and I love it, I don’t feel restricted, I have lost an incredible amount of weight and I am back to health. However, the last 3 weeks have been horrible, and I have made a total slip in the last 3 weekends without sticking to the diet and binge eating, it has been terrible. There are no excuses but to have COVID, my mother is seriously ill and starting a new job at the hospital. I’ve been under a lot of stress and I think I reverted to a coping mechanism from the past. However, the NSV is that before with any other diet or at any other time I would have slipped, I would have felt bad about myself for slipping and giving up completely and going back to my previous eating habits. But not this time! No, tomorrow is another day and I’m going to come back stronger than ever. I’ve got my eggs, bacon, and kale ready for the morning and chicken and broccoli for the afternoon, and I’m going to get right back to that! I’m so proud of myself, never in the past have I been able to think to myself ‘yeah, I was wrong, but I can’t change that so just focus on moving on’ and it’s amazing to be able to do that. I notice that change in me! Wish me luck guys, if anyone has any advice on getting back to Keto after a slip let me know, should I expect the Keto flu etc? Stay safe guys!
