Onederland. The thing about Keto is that you can fail a ton of times, but it only takes a few good runs to completely change your life.

[Progress pic](https://i.imgur.com/W6xKONB.jpeg) This will all be a bunch of stuff you’ve heard before. I started keto a year and a half ago around 255-260 pounds. In my first seven weeks, I lost about 40 pounds. I quit and only ate low carb part of the time with my standard junk food and binge the other time. For the next year I was never able to go on a diet. Every weekend I gave in to temptation and ate like shit. It would start over and fail again. I was a yo-yo between 210 and 225 for a long time, mostly sitting around 215. I had some good successful runs, I went down to 204 on three separate occasions before succumbing to my bad eating habits, which usually started at some kind of party or festive gathering. I even made a post here on / r / keto asking for help because I couldn’t stick to a diet. After failing a few more diets, I went through my history and deleted it. But you don’t have to be successful every time. If you get a few months, even a few weeks of strict keto, you lose weight so fast that the progress you see is massive. That is all it takes. I have not received any pushback on keto from friends and family. Your words of praise and encouragement really make me feel better about myself and make me less likely to go on a diet. Yes, I know there is a lot to unpack on body positivity and self confidence, but I don’t care. Maybe hating my body because it was unhealthy and looked like shit was the right answer. I don’t know, I don’t care. Time to lose another 20 pounds / add muscle and not worry about the scale while amplifying my workout. In the last two years I have probably worked less than 20 hours in total. Almost all of this weight loss occurred without exercise. In the last two weeks I have trained every day. It feels good.
