A new study suggests ketogenic causes cardiac fibrosis

I have been an advocate of the ketogenic diet since 2015 and just lost 50 pounds on keto and OMAD. I have seen many friends and family lose weight with it and I strongly believe in the supposed logic behind it. That said, the findings of this study gave me pause. I’ve been planning to keep eating keto, but now I’m wondering if I should transition to slow carbs or something after reading this article. I don’t mean to blow anyone’s bubble and I just hope someone here is a little more educated than I am and can speak a little better about the science of this study.
