I’ve been here before. It had dropped to around 170. I stopped trying when I started working again a few years ago. On October 22, he weighed 217.6 pounds and had 34.1% body fat. I started planning keto meals again. I told the teens that whatever they are cooking (each cooks at least once a week, from a recipe), it came from a specific set of cookbooks (all keto books). I also eliminate nightshades, because let’s just say we don’t get along. I don’t count calories, I don’t even record how many carbohydrates I’m eating. I just make sure each meal has less than 7 carbs in total, not including sugar alcohols, and I try to avoid overly processed foods. I’m not too worried about it. On November 24 (the last day I weighed), I weighed 207.6 pounds and had 32.3% body fat. 10 pounds less and 1.7% body fat (note: I don’t think my scale accurately measures body fat, but I think it may indicate a general direction). Based on the BMI that my scale calculates, I have gone from being obese to being overweight. My joints hurt A LOT less. My digestive system is much happier. I am much happier. Today’s plan was fried chicken fillet (breaded with crushed pork rinds and Parmesan) with cream sauce (made with what was left in the pan, plus cream cheese and heavy cream and maybe a touch of glucomannan to thicken it) with beans greens, mashed cauliflower. and low carb muffins for me, and mashed potatoes and Hawaiian bread for everyone else. The husband was called, so we will do it tomorrow. Today I made low carb muffins … and broke my mixer. I’m still planning to make my low carb bread and cauliflower puree today so there’s less to do tomorrow.
