How much space do Nutrisystem foods take up?

I recently got an email from the writer asking how much space he would need to store his nutrisystem meals. She lived in an apartment that was relatively small and didn’t have access to a freezer, so she wasn’t sure if this diet would work for her. I assured him that depending on the plan he chose, he should be able to make it work. I will discuss more about this matter in the next article.

Nutrisystem Advanced Meal Storage: Now, there are frozen entrees on this diet, but they come in a separate plan called Nutrisystem Select. These are restaurant quality meals that are quite good and require a freezer. However, most people ask for what is called Nutrisystem Advanced. And these foods have gone through what they call a “soft canning” process that allows foods and packages to be in a soft bag or small container and lie flat.

Different foods have different packaging, but they are all fairly compact. For example, many dinner and lunch foods, such as pastas, stir-fries, and meat-type foods, come in a round container. These are easily stacked on top of each other. Burgers and hot dogs come in a kind of flat box. And the shakes and puddings come in a very small package that takes up almost no space.

I honestly think that even a complete monthly package that includes five small meals per day could be almost entirely stored in a kitchen cabinet. If you don’t have cabinet space, you can easily place your meals in a plastic container for storage elsewhere. In fact, many of the meals are small enough to fit inside a pull-out drawer. The point I’m making is that you don’t need to reserve tons of space and you don’t need to limit yourself to small orders just to be able to accommodate everything.

Buying small orders will cost you more money in the long run and is not necessary anyway. By placing small orders, you are sacrificing being able to use the really good, substantial coupons that significantly lower your cost per meal. So if you are one of those people who is concerned about not having room for nutrisystem, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. And honestly, this food takes up less space than regular groceries, at least in my experience.
