I never thought I'd get here! 100 pounds down

SW 365.8 – GW 230 – CW 256.6 Age – 43 Height 6’7 "Today marks a significant milestone for me in my weight loss journey that I would like to share with a group that has given me a lot of support and encouragement to keep me going. In November I got on the scale and was not happy with the number that came to me. 356.8 lbs. I had a co-worker who had been taking Keto for a couple of months and he was an inspiration for me to try it and as of this morning, I have lost just over 100 pounds! Thanks to Keto and intermittent fasting, my eating routine was as follows: bacon and eggs for lunch (usually 12.30pm), keto snacks around 3, sit down with the family for dinner – eat whatever the protein family is taking (supporting wife) with salad or vegetables. The family still had starch on the table, but I just avoided it (while staring at it pointlessly). He had a sweet tooth so he would have a keto bar to try once in a while after dinner. Now and then he would have a “water beer” with dinner and a vodka or two on the weekends. But I would stop eating at 8pm drinking tea or water in the afternoon to get to bedtime. I still have another 20 to 30 pounds left to reach my final goal of 220 to 230 pounds, which should be my healthy weight for my 6’7 "height. I’ve never been a skinny guy, people always told me “I was carrying my weight right” so I never had a problem with my weight other than not being completely happy where I was. I don’t think I’ve been this weight for the last 20 years and I love the fact that I’m setting a great example for my kids when it comes to healthy habits and the fact that I can follow them more now. I have gone from 3xlt to Xl in height and have even adapted to some Large height brands. And from 54 pants to 40’s! This has been a journey that came from slowly changing my habits at first and then getting into an eating routine where I was seeing consistent results that helped encourage me to reach the next goal / objective. It has not been easy, but to the encouragement of family, friends, and seeing success stories here, I can say that Keto has changed my life. Thanks to everyone in this community who have posted their struggles and successes. They would cheer me up on my days off and allow me to cheer on people on my days of activity. Thank you
