Anyone else feel like Keto is a mental superpower? 💪✨
I’ve been doing keto, in bursts, since about 2012. Every time I return to it, I’m shocked by the mental clarity it gives me.
* Clearer thinking, easier to understand ideas and concepts.
* Less stressed / irrational.
* No hunger pangs so far less mood swings.
* More motivated to get up finish things rather than stay in bed.
Every time I start, about 2 – 3 days in I can ‘feel’ my brain going into keto mode with my thoughts and feelings improving. It’s a great feeling that’s almost like taking a drug (or, exercising
). I would go as far as to say Keto makes me feel like ‘myself’ again, rather than being awash with a cloudiness, mental fog and lack of motivation.
The difficult part is, once I come off keto – even just for a bit – that same mental fog makes it much more difficult to be motivated and understand the benefits, so it takes me much longer to get back on it! I need some tips to remember the gulf between the short term benefit (mm bred taste gud) as the long term (mental clarity, higher productivity, enlightened state).
I wonder if the effects are more profound for certain types of people? Anyone else been sharing this feeling recently?
