I reached my target weight - it's time for a new goal!

Here is a brief summary of my keto trip. I was at my worst about 8 years ago. I was lifting weights 5-6 times a week and I used it as an excuse to eat like an idiot. I went up to 123 kg. She was quite strong but also very fat. I successfully dropped to about 85kg doing keto.

Then I moved to another country, which meant that none of the things I used to eat was available. The butchers did not speak English, I did not speak their language and the meat in the supermarkets was not edible.

So I gave up on keto while working out the other aspects of my new life. That turned into 6 years or so and I went back up to 105kg at Christmas 2018. I still didn’t think I could handle the keto, so I started IF and that helped me drop to 95kg over the course of 2019.

Since the beginning of 2020 I spent 16/8 IF and keto with the goal of reaching my weight limit of my judo days: 81 kg. I chose that because it is the smallest I have had in my adult life and I was not sure I could even reach it.

Well I did and now I realize that I am only 9 kg from my “normal weight”. So I have a new goal now: 72 kg and no longer being overweight.

I’m posting this because I wasn’t sure I could get here. Yet here I am and realize that I have potential for even more. The lesson is: don’t sell yourself short. You are probably capable of more than you know.
