I am still strong keto in "auto quarantine" and still lose!

I started keto because I am TTC.

When I started keto, I had a few starts and stops because I thought about it too much. Despite what everyone said here, which was for simplicity, I was making a lot of “keto recipes” and I’m just not that person. I like to SEE “Master Chef”, but trying to BE a chef doesn’t make me happy. In fact, I found out … that I hate cooking. I don’t like the mess, it’s time consuming and I don’t like the dishwashing involved with all of these recipes. I like the technique involved, but it’s not for me …

And on the other hand, he was not losing weight. Yes, I lost about 3 pounds in a month after I was cheating every damn weekend (because I was SO HUNGRY and none of the food I made was travel friendly because we were volunteering every weekend), but that’s not basically nothing when you have 100 pounds to get to a BMI of 40 (which the doctor won’t even CONSIDER infertility treatments until he gets to me!)

When I didn’t get the results that others got, I realized that you were right. What a concept The hive mind is smarter than me. Who would have hit?

All I need is some leftover protein for dinner with avocado for breakfast, some chicken or roast beef and Sir Kensington mayonnaise on a Mission Carbohydrate omelette for lunch, and broccoli and cheese, a type of Simply baked or baked protein like pork or steak for dinner. (And great spinach salads with 0 carbohydrate dressing and some feta cheese when I’m hungry between meals when I’m stressed or at shark week, and a splash of whipped cream for something sweet)

Occasionally I will do a keto with Stroganoff or some crack chicken because I love it … but excessive complication is not an option if I want to continue with this.

I’ve been getting stronger for the past four weeks, and although my city has issued a curfew and most stores are closed from the virus … I dropped about 30 pounds from 314 pounds to 285.

This is unheard of for me. Even when a nutritionist came up with a meal plan for me a few years ago, I only lost a pound a week and was hungry the entire time. It lasted every 2 weeks.

It’s been a while since I was at club 200. I don’t see it at all, even in my check-in photos, but my husband says my face looks “less bloated” and this is the man who didn’t notice when I went from platinum blonde to dark brown hair and I hit myself.

Anyway, with all the craziness OUT, everything is fine in my microcosm. I have the tools to keep losing and have started walking into my routine due to all the downtime.

Cw: 285
1st Gw: 190 (Minimum BMI for infertility treatment)
Final Gw: 130 (my weight when I was a competition fighter in high school)
