SV: It's been a few difficult weeks after my brother's death, but I didn't expect to lose weight
So, the last time I weighed myself in November, I was 285 years old. It was a bit of a disappointment, since I started at 290 in July. I started great and, basically, I definitely made better food choices, but I know I wasn’t running IN ketosis because I had basically reached 50-60 g of carbohydrates one day a week basically.
Well, yesterday I went to donate blood at work. I haven’t been weighing myself routinely and I thought about my weight in November and not being as strict as it had to be, I would still be there. When the staff asked, I said 285 because I didn’t know otherwise. They said, we weigh just to confirm.

I’m surprised basically because from my [Brother passed away 2/2](https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/ey3gtk/be_sure_tell_your_loved_ones_you_love_them_my/), I have filled up with NO keto and eating as I used to, trying to drown in food. So to think that it was 272 after 2 solid weeks of options very little keto took me by surprise. Thinking about what it was BEFORE those 2 weeks of pleasure (tortillas / chips / soda / candy / etc.) gave me a shock when I wanted to concentrate again.
Okay, this is not a great progress compared to many people here, it is a great progress since I weighed 259 in 2016. My goal has been 250 as a milestone at 200. 250 would allow me to do indoor skydiving as Un dulce.
