It feels so good to be back in the rhythm: NSV and reflexes after 18 months of keto on and off
Sometimes Phoenix here. Fast fly over my keto trip. 25 years old man living here in the deep south, United States. Keto discovered in the spring of 2017. I did nothing but read often and experiment with some recipes here and there. I started with keto with my highest weight of 320 pounds in May 2018. I lost 85 pounds in November 2018 with 235 pounds. “He took a thanksgiving break” that lasted 9 months. The bingeing resumed and I was at 285 in May 2019. I did a vague keto during the summer, I didn’t lose weight, I didn’t gain weight. I spent the holidays with this pattern and returned to the cart on December 26 at 285 pounds. I weighed last Sunday at 259 and I feel great again.

TBH, I’m just posting today because I put on a shirt that I bought when I lost weight, put on one time and then I couldn’t fit in for a few months. I tried using it in the fall and it was tight and sticky and I felt insecure all day. I use it today after having lost 20 pounds again with a keto diet and I have been congratulated twice in an hour. A friend at work asked me if I was losing weight and I felt PROUD to say YES, I am back in keto and I LOVE (my whole office already knows about my keto trip). I feel better with a diet high in fat and low in carbohydrates. My body works when I work the keto way of eating. After a year, I am very grateful to learn what my body wants and needs. Thanks for everything you do to stimulate this movement and sub reddit!
