Appetite is not suppressed a second time

The first time I tried the diet, it seemed that even from the first high-fat meal, my appetite was suppressed. I felt like crap for 3 days and woke up on 4 with mental clarity, energy and zero hunger. Basically, I felt that I was adapted to fat even though it was only like my fourth day. I really didn’t need to eat and I felt full of 1200kcal

That was in February-June 2019. Since I left Keto and tried to restart since October, the experience has not been like the first time. I never had the flu, but my hunger was never suppressed either. From October, basically, I would go to the keto for a week or two just to cheat with some carbohydrates because I thought that screwing the keto no longer suppresses my hunger.

I am in the second week of strict keto and, as I said, I still have an appetite. I know that my appetite should be reduced if I just keep it and adapt to fat, but I can’t help wondering “Why was it so different the first time?”

I’m curious to know if anyone else has experienced this. If the keto took his hunger from the beginning the first time, but later his appetite returned if he took a break from the diet or not.
